Get to know me
What do you love most about being the first face our guests see when they walk into the salon?
I enjoy being the first person the guests see because I get to be the first one to welcome them in as they step foot in the salon. It’s nice to see people smile back at me when I greet them at the door. Making our guests feel taken care of and welcome is such an important part of the salon experience because it really does set the tone for their appointment. It’s awesome that I get to be the first one to do that.

If you could describe the salon experience in three words, what would they be?
If I could describe the salon experience in three words it would be inviting, transformative, and fun.

What’s one thing our guests might not know about you?
One thing most of our guests don’t know about me is that I am a jewellery maker. Alongside working at Revamp, I also make and sell jewellery. I’ve recently tried silversmithing, and I like to do wire wrapping and beadwork. I have been making jewellery for three years and I really enjoy it. Jewellery making is one of my biggest creative passions, that I hope to keep doing.
What’s your go-to way to brighten someone’s day?
My go-to way to brighten someone’s day is to give them a compliment. I believe telling someone you like something they are wearing or something about that person can really change their day. When I’ve been feeling down and someone tells me something genuine and nice, it makes me feel uplifted, so I like to do the same for others.

If you could have a dream day off, what would it look like?
If I had a dream day off, I would sleep in and have the morning to relax. I would then go for a late morning brunch with my family. In the afternoon, I would get a coffee with my friends. After getting coffee, I would go for a long walk along the river if the weather was nice. After the walk, I would come home and make a comforting meal for supper. Lastly, I would curl up on the couch next to my dog and watch a movie to end the night. My day off would be peaceful and relaxing.
